SirsiDynix Libraries Get-Together, March 25

by on March 2, 2010

Recently we have set up a group of systems administrators from libraries and archives that use a SirsiDynix database (Unicorn, Symphony, Dynix, Horizon) that meet every few months to share ideas, problems, questions and solutions about how to make a traditional library management system work best in a museum/special collections environment.

I think everyone who has been to these informal get-togethers has found them very useful and if you are interested why not come to our next meeting at the  British Museum Great Court on Thursday 25 March, 4-6.30pm.

The time is not fixed, so if you’d like to come simply drop in when you can make it – we’ll be commandeering a table in the Great Court cafe area.

I would love to meet up with you as I am new at the V&A looking after the Horizon system for the NAL, but I will be away during late March. Any chance of another informal get together in April? LRB tea shop?

    Hi Paul,

Sorry you won’t be able to make the get together this month. We usually meet every two – three months and will keep you updated on when the next one is planned!

    Gary
