Project Coordinator – Archives and Access Project
Tate’s aim is to increase public awareness, understanding and enjoyment of British art from the 16th century to the present day. Successful in our Heritage Lottery Fund bid for the Archives & Access project, we are changing the way people engage with Britain’s cultural heritage, through a programme of digitisation and engagement. More information about the project can be found at http://www.tate.org.uk/art/archive
A large percentage of the project has been completed so, as Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the remaining strands of the Archives & Access project, including the delivery of the final outputs and content, initiating and managing organisational learning activities, coordinating press and dissemination activities, supporting the transcription project, and ensuring the completion of project documentation and succession planning.
You will ensure the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the highest quality. You will work collaboratively, maintaining the relationships that have been built across Tate and with volunteers, trainees and external partner organisations.
This position is offered on a fixed-term contract of 12 months.
